Due to the lockdown and the rise of the coronavirus, most of our social interactions are now online using video conferencing apps and websites like zoom and house party. These apps showed a drastic increase in users, resulting in them having to start debugging their apps and rent more servers as the online traffic was now in millions.

Zoom has added many new features since its app became the prime location for video conferencing for work, school and even normal conversations. But most of these zoom meetings kept getting hijacked by strangers and at that time zoom had to find a solution. They then added the waiting room feature which solved some issues but not all. One thing zoom could do is introduce email connected logins which basically means that the host can create a list of email IDs and only someone with that said email ID can join the meeting. This will solve most of the problems related to this issue as only the participants who are meant to join the meeting can.

One more website which could make quarantine much easier was https://www.watch2gether.com/. Watch2gether is an online platform which lets you view a movie/video with your friends in sync. It also enables you to communicate using a video/audio chat. This website also has a normal chatbox. It is comparatively easy to use once you get the hang of it. It is similar to Netflix party but it works on all streaming sites be it Hotstar, Prime Video or even your own videos uploaded on your drive. It allows you to be on a video chat with your friends which makes the experience much more exciting.

Let us know in the comments if you’ll would like us to talk about watch2gether in detail or even make a tutorial article about how to use it!
