As you all know that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the whole world including the sports field. There are still battles going on for when the T20 world cup will take place and where.


The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has accused outgoing chairman Shahshank Manohar of deliberately dragging his feet on the issue. The BCCI feels that the ICC's "delaying tactic" could severely hurt IPL preparations. For this concern about IPL, Sourav Ganguly the boards’ president has stated that they are willing to start IPL in closed doors as they are currently working on all the different possibilities to assure us to start IPL. However, Australia believes in taking a pause, cutting bonus and firing a few staff members for their cost reduction plans.


During these tough times, South Africa has come up with new strategies for their upcoming games. As they are unclear of some new cricket players they have found a new three-team format strategy to find out if the players who are eligible to play for South Africa for their upcoming strategy. There are some matches that have been planned in the month of July. There are domestic and international tournaments starting in the second week of July. Scotland has cancelled their tour of Australia due to the COVID-19 situation. There also have been a few problems in the cricket side as Jonny Bairstow wants his old role as a wicketkeeper back when they have their matches against the West Indies.
