Investing in gold, throughout the years, has proven a safe and reliable option for investors, as it has seen very less depreciation in the past one decade, and has maintained an almost impeccable track record for giving returns equivalent to inflation, experts interpret data in the respective years of 2001 and 2008 as gold being the first asset classes to regain value. Experts suggest to invest in gold funds via SIPS (Systemic Investment Plans), which are investment strategies wherein investors can invest a predetermined sum of money regularly in their mutual funds, which is auto-debited from their accounts. However, experts also suggest to limit the risk and therefore the scale of the investment to 10-15%.
